About Us

f22 Studios was born from the shared vision of John and Ken, two photographers with years of experience at Bluestar Digital Imaging Ltd and Wilko’s photography studio. They spotted a gap in the market for a dedicated commercial, product and e-commerce photography studio in Nottinghamshire, and set out to build a space where brands could get great images without the stress.
Before long, Hannah joined the team as a Studio Co-ordinator, bringing sharp organisation and a flair for styling that keeps every project running smoothly. Together, the three of us make sure every shoot feels well-planned, relaxed and enjoyable from start to finish.
Since opening, we’ve worked with a wide mix of clients, from local businesses to well-known brands. What they all have in common is the trust they place in us to deliver photography that’s creative, detail-driven and built around their needs. With a spacious drive-in studio, flexible room sets and a large infinity cove, we’ve got the tools to make that happen, whether it’s product, lifestyle, corporate or advertising photography.

With more than 35 years in photography and the creative industries, John knows how to make brands look their best. He specialises in advertising, product and e-commerce photography, combining technical know-how with an easy-going style that puts clients at ease.
John’s approach is simple: listen carefully, understand what matters, then deliver images that do the job and more. He brings skill, warmth and plenty of passion to every shoot.
Away from the studio, John is an avid reader, a keen gardener and a devoted dog lover. He’s also a lifelong researcher, always exploring new ideas and creative trends.
Ken
Photographer & Director

Ken brings over 20 years of experience in product photography, lifestyle shoots and video production. With a strong background in retail photography and content creation, he’s known for his precise attention to detail, calm presence on set and ability to put models of all levels at ease.
Clients value Ken’s creativity, consistency and focus on getting the job done right, qualities that have been key in shaping f22 Studios’ reputation.
Outside of work, Ken’s a dedicated family man with two boys and a crazy cockapoo named Coco. He’s also a big tech enthusiast, especially when it comes to Apple gadgets and software.

Stylist & Studio Co-ordinator

Behind every successful shoot is Hannah, keeping F22 Studios running smoothly. As our Studio Co-ordinator, she manages quotes and acts as the client account handler, ensuring every project is organised from start to finish. Her enthusiasm, organisation, and eye for detail shine through in everything from styling sets and prepping samples to managing logistics and keeping shoot days on track. Always ten steps ahead, she’s often tweaking the tiniest details before anyone else has even noticed.
As a busy mum of two, Hannah still makes time for running, badminton, and catching up with friends. She loves a good social and is usually first on (and last off!) the dance floor.
