Do I own the copyright to the images/videos?
Under UK law, the photographer typically retains the copyright. However, we grant our clients comprehensive usage licenses that permit you to use the images for your agreed commercial purposes (e.g., marketing, website, social media, print). We will clearly outline the specifics of your usage rights in our contract, ensuring you have all the necessary permissions for your business needs. If you require full copyright transfer, this can be discussed and arranged.
How do I receive my final images and videos?
We deliver your final, high-resolution images and videos securely via our dedicated Client Portal. This password-protected platform allows you to conveniently review, download and manage your assets from anywhere. Alternatively, we can use WeTransfer for delivery, or for clients with established workflows, we are also happy to utilise your own FTP servers for a seamless transfer process that fits your existing systems.
What are your studio facilities like?
We are proud to offer two expansive 1000 sq. ft. ground-level studios with drive-in access, making it easy to bring in large products, vehicles or complex set builds. Our facilities also
include a 16-foot infinity cove, perfect for creating seamless, professional backgrounds for a wide range of subjects including larger items.What should I do to prepare for a photoshoot?
To get the most out of your shoot, it’s important to provide a clear brief and a detailed shot list. This helps us fully understand your goals, audience and any specific visuals you’re after.
It’s also helpful to share brand guidelines or references like mood boards or example images. For product shoots, please make sure everything arrives clean, organised and ready to go. Don’t worry, we’ll guide you through the whole process and are always here to help if you’re not sure where to start.
Can you help with styling and set design?
Absolutely! We understand that great images aren’t just about the photography, it’s everything around it too. We can take care of styling and set build, whether that’s arranging products, sourcing props or creating a custom setup, so the whole shoot looks spot on and true to your brand.
Can you tell me what your cancellation or rescheduling policy is?
We understand that plans can change. Our cancellation and rescheduling policies are clearly outlined in our client contract. We aim to be as flexible as possible, and we encourage open communication if you anticipate any changes to your scheduled shoot.
Where are you located, and do you offer on-location shoots?
Our studio is conveniently located in Mansfield, East Midlands, just 15 minutes from the M1 motorway. This central location offers excellent accessibility for clients across the UK. While we boast superb studio facilities, we also frequently conduct shoots on location, whether at your premises, a specific venue, or an outdoor setting, both locally and nationwide. Wherever your project needs us, we’ll be there.
What is your typical turnaround time for delivering images/videos?
Turnaround times vary depending on the scope and complexity of the project. We always aim for efficient delivery without compromising quality. We’ll provide an estimated timeline with your quote, and for larger projects, we can discuss phased deliveries. For urgent requirements, please let us know during your initial enquiry.
